Kathy Pace Technology Scholarship Now Accepting Applications
Centre Technologies is now accepting applications for the Kathy Pace Technology Scholarship, a $5,000 scholarship open to any college student pursuing a degree in a technology-related field. The scholarship honors the late Kathy Pace, who strongly believed in supporting the community. As the role of technology changes, the next generation of technology professionals need to possess the compassion and commitment to use technology as a tool to improve the world we live in.
“My mom never cut corners, and so it's always been about hard work. A lot of what she taught us is the right things, not because we have to but because we want to," says Chris Pace, CEO of Centre. “We want to award this scholarship to a student who exemplifies our values. The student who takes home this scholarship will be an innovator who wants to use technology to improve lives.”

The $5,000 scholarship will be awarded to two rising freshmen, undergraduate or graduate students pursuing higher education in a technology-related field. The scholarship can be used to pay for tuition and/or other school related expenses. This scholarship is reserved for Texas and Oklahoma residents only.
College Scholarship Submission Requirements
The student chosen for the scholarship should embody the spirit of encouraging and supporting others, and demonstrate care for both the people around them, and for their community. This scholarship is reserved for Texas and Oklahoma residents only.
To apply for the Kathy Pace Technology Scholarship, please submit all of the following required documents:
- 2 Letters of Recommendation
- Unofficial Copy of High School or College Transcript
- Essay (Max. 800 words) describing (1) what technology means to you and (2) how you plan to work with technology in the future
